Now that I have been in my role for several months, I thought it was time to spend a few moments sharing my thoughts for PMI in 2011. Please take a few moments to watch a short video that will provide an overview of these plans.

In summary, the PMI strategic plan is developed and approved by the PMI Board of Directors, and it guides the organization for the long term. However, the way the staff team at GOC implements that strategy has been adjusted to position us to take advantage of the current economic environment, continue to grow, and to better serve our varied group of stakeholders.


One common theme - delivering value - will provide the foundation for ongoing Institute priorities and focus. It is extremely important to me that each PMI staff member, whatever their role, focuses absolutely on creating value for our members every day. Along with PMI's Board of Directors, I am enthusiastic that our renewed focus on understanding and delivering value will better enable our staff to meet our stakeholders' needs today and into the future.
